The magic duo of Tamaka & the Empress have been working together for 14 years.
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, they have traveled around the world performing their magical artistry.
Since becoming the team of Tamaka & the Empress, they have enjoyed putting together magic performances that usually have a theme.
Tamaka knows how to create a show that is not only taylored for the corporate client, but also for the family event. Everyone goes away having been entertained and knowing they had a great time.

Their involvementment within the communities they work, caused them to see a need to start a non profit organization called Linking Rings Performing Arts Group. The mission of the non profit is to have an assembly show that would teach the students Asian and Native American culture, as well as a show that teaches the students how to have a strong self-esteem. These shows have the magic woven into the lessons or stories.
The non profit allows us to receive donations to help defer the cost of the performances so the schools would not have to pay a large fee for the show and travel expenses, since we see how the schools are aways the ones hit hard during budget cuts. Those who can donate get a tax deduction. We use Guidestar as the organization that recieves and process' your donations. While Tamaka was a youth counselor, he became a member of the Fellowship of Christian Magicians, and offers performances that have the Gospel interwoven into the magic. These performances have both him and the Empress on the road as well. Creating programs with a theme the churches want to have, is no problem with Tamaka & the Empress.
